WTB: Sport Suspension

Want to buy: used aftermarket springs and shocks for a 97 Lude. Something with around a 1.5 inch drop that is still civilized for use on a daily driver. KYB shocks with H&R sport springs would be perfect for example.

Need to eliminate my stock 4x4 status.

Umm idk if you want advice but those kyb shocks wont last very long with aftermarket lowering springs! Unless of coarse you get those red kyb adjustable struts then were talking but if you want struts that are comfortable and last with lowering springs Get tokico and i recommend ebaich springs just trust me. I have been through 3 sets of springs and 2 sets of struts and after experiencing all the bs i had to put up with ebaich is perfect ride quality and and alot quieter on bumps vs other springs and the tokico are just perfect for those springs. KYB struts will work also with ebaich but! might not last as long bc the non adjustable ones are not designed for lowering springs.

Yeah Mugen would be perfect. If i was rich as F*#%!!!

On a strict budget unfortunately. Looking to find something high quality but slightly used so that I can stay within the neighborhood of $400

I have the blue ones none adjustable and ebaich springs they do great and hell yea mugen is good S H I T but i totally agree with JHF0092 that crap is expensive as fu. My total for all my suspension was 500$ which for me is still alot but ive clearly learned that if your gonna do something spend more and do it right the first time and you will never return to it. Or you can go cheap and after a year youll be redoing that sh it and then saying why the fu ck did i save 100 bucks and now gotta spend another 300 400 to do it right! Idk boys ive learned you can learn from me or experience it yourself. Whatever your decision is just make sure the shock/strut can handle the springs and dont go below 1.5 it's stupid if there were springs that lowered 1in id do it right away. Also non branded springs will settle over time and go lower then 1.5 or whatever they said it would hold. My neighbor drives an SH owned it for 6 years to years ago he lowered it with cheap non branded shocks that were rated for 1.5 it lasted approx 1.5-2 years and now his wheels touch the fender! Also his struts blew out and his had oem struts to! Oem wont last long mine lasted me 1 year with springs then Blew!!! So yea this is mine and a neighbors experience goodluck deciding! Im not sating eibach is the best bc i have them there just most comfortable im sure there are other good springs out there but if you wanna ride on something decent! Get Ebaich! Goodluck!

I agree with the ebaich. I had them on my integra and they were great. Not bumpy at all. It reminded of my stock setup when I had them. I just got some for my prelude because i loved the ride and how well they handled. And yes...teins are not the best SPRINGS...but they are one of the best coilover setups out there. I had the type flex and edfc on my other integra that was stolen. Loved them the most. My buddy had put the tein springs on his car and its kind of rough. But best bang is the ebaichs for sure. but that is just my opinion....And yes tokicos are great also, but go with the aluminas... They are adjustable.
