I have a M2S4 tranny for sale with a Kaaz LSD that has new bearings in it for the LSD. $700 obo

I need to get a regular 5 speed for my accord and need a JDM VTEC H22A model like a M2F4 or M2A4 or M2B4 (maybe) I have a JDM H22A engine in my 94 Accord EX right now with the above trans.

I am in San Diego. Would like to do a trade somehow, Need a good solid tranny pretty fast though. Definitely want the M2F4 or M2A4 as first choice.

depends. I am looking for like 700 for the one for sale. If deal is right, could be straight across. Like I said, depends. I did not see what you had to offer in your reply, maybe I missed it. Where are you located?

A non LSD tranny with a bad 5th gear is not anything like a even trade. How much will it cost to repair the fifth gear? Have you sourced the parts anywhere? If that trans were fixed without any probs like mine is, I would do an even trade with you bringing the trans here to my place in San Diego. How do you know the 5th gear is bad, what is it doing? Pop out, not going into gear, etc?

i know its not an even trade, that's why i asked how much on top of your tranny. i didn't know if you could put a new gear in yourself. it grinds in 5th, doesn't pop out, just grinds. not sure how much to fix it, the only quote i've gotten so far is to fix it and install a lsd, so my quote is high - i never had it broken down because i never plan on just fixing it.

A 5th from a H or a F should work. I can tear it down and everything. So looks like the difference in price for whatever the parts cost would do it. $700 - ? + your tranny = mine something like that. I will look up some more info on the fifth gear grinding problem. Seems like there is a TSB on the fifth gear in that transmission.

I am going off the assumption that your tranny is the H22 JDM model. Can you verify this?
