No doubt that the authentic mugen sides are almost impossible to find. I saw a set for sale on the torontoprelude forum during the summer.. but the seller wasn't willing to ship the side skirts at the time. Then.. last month.. he decided to ship and sold it to somebody in Russia I believe.
You pretty much now have to keep tabs of the present lude owners that have the authentic sides and hope someday they part the side skirts.
^ yup, I seen them for sale too but the guy never responded back to me. He hadn't logged in for weeks after I sent him a PM so I figured it was a lost cause that's the last pieces I need to complete the kit.
There not worth $800 I had the honour to see a real MUGEN kit on a Prelude..and I don't see why MUGEN is so expensive, don't get me wrong, the MUGEN kit is my 1st choice kit for the Prelude. The problem is demand..people will pay the price and enjoy getting bent over for brand names. lol

Not only because they are genuine Mugen, but you also have to look at the fitment quality of them in comparison to the replicas. The mugen fitment is spot on as you can see from the pictures, they slip on perfectly over the door sill area with no bending and can be easily attached with OEM clips on the bottom side of the vehicle.
The majority of the replicas on the market have to be modified to fit and often times you have the drill near the door sill area to get them to stay on.
