Real carbon fiber covered gas door

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a carbon fiber wrapped fuel door. They would be about $75.

what retard poser would wrap something in carbon fiber

point of carbon fiber is to reduce weight by replacing a part

make me a spoiler that attaches to the gas door and ill buy it just to be an ass but seriously 70 bucks to wrap a gas door in carbon fiber are you nuts? have you lost your mind?

+1. that does sound excessively expensive for a cover. i would get one--for aesthetics--if the rest of my quarter panel was cf and i couldn't find a replacement. i don't know about just having the gas door by itself cf. that's kinda whack.

that said, how much could a gas door weigh anyways? you could take a good poop and lose more weight than just removing the damn thing, entirely.

the whole gas door, gas cap, and filler neck/overflow metal tubes must have some weight, i bet if you remove them you can set up your fill point directly on the gas tank, and just crawl under your car with the gas nozzle every time you fill up your car

It wasnt $70 for the cover.. it was $70 for the oem fuel door & to have it wrapped in cf and cleared with a new sticker. The door itself would cost me $40 on ebay.
