JDM Prelude Type S 5th gen down pipe and cat

I have a 5th gen down pipe from a 2000 JDM prelude Type S model with catalytic converter with 37,695 miles on it. pics will be posted soon!

downpipe meaning, header section before the cat or midpipe after the cat?

down pipe, meaning the pipe that goes "down" from the header

Also, what kind of flange is on the other side of the cat? I have apexi ws-2 catback just hoping it will bolt right up.
