It sounds like he's trying to sell an incomplete "cheap" swap for 3 grand. I considered doing this because it was ultimately cheaper than rebuilding my H22. Unless there's some serious parts in that block, the 3k is a bit ambitious. But yes, the details are lack luster at best. If he actually does intend to sell this for 3 grand, there better be some parts in that block, some pictures, machine shop receipts... SOMETHING.

I bought my block (3,000 miles used) for $4000 complete with head.

It was sleeved (ductile Iron) by Golden Eagle of California, overbored to 87.5mm
Stuffed with Forged Arias Pistons and Eagle Forged Rods
New bearings
Completely degreased and steam cleaned to perfection
Came with H23 Manual Tensioner upgrade
Semi-Closed Deck
Head was upgraded with Supertech Valves and new OEM camshafts and OEM springs and was also given a valve job and a moderate port and polish in the ports.
And came with ARP Head Studs

You're asking too much for a thrown-together mismatched block that the average schmoe could build for $2000.
