1. STOCK INTERIOR TRIM PIECES ($35 firm + shipping):
radio surround and window switch panels by the door handle (these are the pieces replaced by the CF kit). Great condition. Will only sell as a group, so don't ask to buy separately.
2. IPOD INTERFACE FOR STOCK RADIO ($35 firm + shipping): SOLD
This is the performance shift boot (long version) that threads up to Momo shift knobs. Please note that this is the long version, and I preferred the short version, which is why I am selling this one. According to Momo, it measures 9 inches. (No dirty jokes.)
Also, I have removed the elastic so that it could be properly mounted to the Honda mounting bracket. Great condition; used for less than two weeks.
This is the bracket that shift boots are attached to. Made by Honda. For 5th Gen Preludes.
NOTE: If you purchase the shift boot above, and want this mounting bracket, I'll discount it to $15 and waive shipping. You will have to attach the boot to the bracket yourself.
For those interested, please wait until Friday for pics. I'm super busy tomorrow, but I should have time Thursday night to take a quick pic of everything. I don't have a way to host pics, so please PM me with your email address for pics.
ugotshafted and the1986: please PM me with your email addresses and I'll email pics as soon as I take them (no later than Friday).
does the ipod interface work with the stock tape decks? i'd assume not...since its a cd changer input.. but just curious
This is a very good point, and thank you for making it. ANYTHING that is using the 8-pin input on the back of the radio renders this iPod interface cable useless. Essentially, you must have just a 92-98 OEM radio with no Honda electronic accessories (CD changer, tape deck, whatever else they made...) plugged into the back of it.
