Wow! thats the good kit, I was thinking that you just got the lowing springs. I'm looking for somthing that looks low but not ride like a piece of crap but still use my stock springs. Most people tell me not to go lower than 1.5-2.0 to keep from blowing out the stock shocks. I am not sure whether to go with Tein S Techs(1.5in) or H&R Race(2.0) Drop. Any thoughts?
Well personally I was on the H&R Race springs for a while and my shocks never went bad on me. Of course, I don't put as many miles on my car as most people do, so it might be different for you.
But I'd still recommend getting the drop that you really want if you plan on getting shocks later. If you don't want to get new shocks later, than stick with H&R Sport/Tein S-Tech drop or higher (so like 1.4" or 1.5" at the most). No matter what drop you get, you'll be speeding up the wear on your shocks, but from what I've heard you're pretty safe with a non-drastic drop.
Thanks Dude, I'll probably get the either H&R sport or race springs. Given that you haven't any problem with your shocks, and the fact that I don’t put a ton of miles on my lude (8-9,000 a year) I'll most likely get race(more of a drop) assuming that the ride isn't to rough for city driving.
The ride is definitely do-able for city driving. It's firm so you can feel the road but not so stiff that you're bouncing all over the place. It actually feels about the same as my Teins at the middle firmness setting all around, which is supposed to be close to stock, if a little more firm. Either way, the ride was fine. Good luck!
cool cool! Thanks for all the info Raman. I should be getting the springs within the next couple of weeks (from ebay) , I will be sure to post fresh pictures, just as soon as I get some time to install them on the car. L8r Dude. (By the way I'm Josh.)
no i still have them on my car and have no need to sell them, at least right now. Maby in the future, like this comming summer i may swap out for some KYBS.

I'm guessing these are still available? Have they been modified in any way? (did you cut the bump stops?) I thought you had to cut the bumpstops when you put them on wiht H+R's?
Hey sorry for not responding to this earlier. I do still have the shocks, but I can't remember if the bump stops were cut or not (it's been forever since I had those H&R's).
The drop was pretty low so if I had to guess I'd say they were cut... I won't be back in Cali till February to look at them in person but I can have my bro check on them one of these weekends when he's home. Shoot me a PM if I haven't posted back here in a week or so.
