FS in NJ: Four (4) 17x8" Borbet Type-FS Wheels - (05-06 17" RSX Type-S Wheels)
Title pretty much says it all. These are pretty much in new condition. These look fairly close to the 05-06 17" RXS Type-S Wheels that are impossible to find. These are actually nicer!
Would rate these 9/10. Never been driven on. Only mounted to ensure fitment so they will have a few tiny marks from the machine when unmounting. Includes new lug nuts, center caps and centering rings. These retail for $700.00 on TireRack. Looking to get $600. You will not be dissapointed
I would prefer local pick-up in Edison, NJ or Rumson, NJ. Shipping would be costly and around $100-$150. Please PM or email me Ghetto2315@aol.com. I am a fair person, but will not entertain low ballers. These are excellent wheels that have not been driven on yet.
Thank you for looking!

I'm tempted to buy them and sit on them till i can mount them in the spring, and i agree too low ball especially for those rims, they look like they are in excellent shape and $600 for rims is a good enough deal as it is, i am surprised they haven't been snatched up yet

Sorry if i'm raining on your thread, and you may hate me for this, lol..but you can get these brand new from TireRack for $687 shipped.
I didn't think people would make the same mistake twice, but apparently they do...
These are the 17x8, NOT the 17x7. The 17x8 are $175 per wheel, which equates to $700 before shipping. The 17x7 are $163 per wheel, which comes out to $652 before shipping.
Unless you live close or pick-up from the warehouse, shipping is extra.

My mistake, I was looking at 17x7..but 17x8 is about $736 shipped..still brand new and at least half way between your pricing
My wheels are technically new. They haven't even been driven on yet. Just mounted on to the car to ensure fitment.
Notice how my OP stated that I prefer local pick-up and discouraged shipping? If you pick up the wheels for $600, you'd save $136 for new wheels. Quite a difference.
And you're here to discourage my For Sale because...?
Go take a nap or go outside. Leave the classifieds to the adults

exactly why i "low balled" as you said. they are used. so $400 isn't exactly low balling. if they had rubber on them i'd have offered more. any who pays 600 when they can get them flawless and new for 87 more is foolish. good luck on the sale though.

So never driven on and only mounted to ensure fitment is considered used?
They have 0 miles on them... make that 0 inches. That's Zero.
I invite you to come and see the wheels for yourself. If they aren't "new" condition, then I'll give them to you for your asking price.
If it makes you feel better, I can write TireRack on the box and make you girls feel happy...

uhhmm..okay, all i'm doing is pointing out an obvious truth. Whether you drove on them or not, they are still USED because you mounted them. Someone may drive a new car off a dealer lot for less than a block, decide to return it that same hour, and the car would be considered USED and will depreciate. It's the law of economics my friend, why don't you go take a class.
Now, granted they are USED but still relatively new, your pickup price may be decent, but how likely is it that you will find someone local who will indefinitely pick them up?? Not very..i'm just trying to point out that most people will have to have them shipped, and they can have a BRAND NEW set for about the same price or even less, so don't get your panties all up in a bunch.

A car is not considered USED until it is registered by the DMV. Ever wonder why some NEW cars have more miles than others? Yes, test drive miles. But others are because people drive off the dealer lot for less than a block and decide to return it that same hour.
You know what... I am actually stopping myself from even finishing my response to your comments. It's people like you who we laugh at who try and come in to buy a Mercedes-Benz, thinking it costs like a Honda. Just the principle of your demeanor.
Back on topic...

Wow..just wow..you're stopping yourself because you don't have a response..Who the hell is talking about buying a Mercedes? Whatever you're smoking must be some GOOOOOD stuff ..because no one here mentioned ANYTHING about buying a Mercedes for the cost of a Honda. I used the car and dealer lot as an analogy to your wheels. I know you're sore because you think i'm bashing your wheels, but hey man, it's a plain truth and i'm pointing it out. You can keep trying to rebuttal what is true, but when it comes down to it..it's not me, but YOU who's stuck with a set of wheels that won't sell..hmm, I wonder why..
P.S. If they are still "NEW" as you claim, why don't you try returning them douchebag???

I used the Mercedes/Honda example as an anology to your demeanor and how you think... Nothing to do with buying a car
The wheels I bought for $300 (Not from TireRack). Need proof too?
I am selling because I don't need them. I can wait for my asking price because I don't need the cash... douchebag. They're an asset that I can unload them whenever I want, for the price I want.
Go play with your sh!tty lude

If you could unload them whenever you want you'd have sold them already, but you can't, hence your ongoing for sale thread. You know, opening more than one sale thread within two months for the same item that hasn't sold doesn't show a sign of desperation whatsoever
I'm not gonna argue with you anymore. You've played a great game of wits (or lack thereof on your part) and revealed all your cards, including how much you paid for those wheels. I really do wish you luck with the sale, because anyone who will buy them now for that price would be someone pretty dumb..maybe even as dumb as you.
P.S. You can go play with those sh!tty wheels of yours since afterall..you will have them for a long time.

Who said we were arguing? You really are a girl...
And a dumb f*ck... if I have an asset that costs me nothing to have, holds value, and will eventually be sold, how the hell does that show desperation? A For Sale ad, which is FREE, apparently shows desperation? You really are the epitome of a F'n idiot.
Opening 2 For Sale threads is due to the fact that the original was posted in the wrong section. A Moderator actually moved it to the correct forum, hence the reason for the same 2 threads in one section.
Doesn't matter how much I paid for the wheels, the fact is I have something that some people want and will pay for.
For example, the only reason why I am selling these wheels is because I paid close to nothing for a set of mint RSX Type-S wheels that I have on now... you know, the EXACT set of wheels YOU want.
How about I mount my Borbet wheels and sell my mint RSX Type-S wheels and post a for sale ad. Does that make me desperate since I posted them for sale... maybe in more than 2 threads?? They are an asset, holds value, and will sell to punks like you when I get my asking price. Doesn't matter when. Could be today, could be in a year...
Good luck finding mint RSX wheels. Good looking wheels on your SH!T looking car won't make your car look any better... haha Does your lude come with a tampon??
P.S. - Go back to Midas and ask them to do you a favor and keep your piece of trash. Let me guess... you let them change your oil too huh?
