SOLD!!!!: JRSC SH Kit + 9psi Pulley - $1300

Hey guys,

Going to pass on the killer deal I got on this JRSC. Due to a sunken sleeve, I've decided to swap in a Type S and leave the blower off. I've realized that I'm in way too deep, and would like to spend time driving the car, instead of constantly tweaking it. to cut the suspense out, I am looking to get $1300 + Shipping, and I am FIRM on the price.

Up for sale is my JRSC typeSH kit. The kit only differs from the base kit in the oil filter relocator. Everything else is the same. In addition, I will also be throwing in the 9psi pulley that came with the kit when I bought it.
A little bit of history:
The previous owner ran the kit for a year (approx 12k miles), about half of those with the 9psi pulley without any problems. He sold it to me as he was upgrading to a turbo the size of my face. When buying the blower, I noticed that some of the coating on the rotors have flaked off. This is probably due to the increased heat range the blower was running at with the 9psi pulley. I was ensured the kit would produce full boost, and if any problems surfaced, he would be more than happy to refund me my money.

I ran the JRSC kit for about a year and a half with a built motor until the sinking sleeves became an issue (a whole other story). I only ran the stock 6psi pulley, as I had no desire to upgrade injectors, get hondata and a custom tune. After some oil and coolant burning, and the increased occurance of stalling at lights, the motor would no longer start, completely unrelated to the blower.

I decided to remove the blower, and at the same time inspect it. The rotors have not gotten any worse, and always made full boost as claimed by the previous owner. No grinding noises, no oil leaking. In short, I will make the same gaurentee here that the previous owner made me. If the blower makes any grinding noises, wont make full boost, or leaks any oil, I will take it back. This is only if you installed it correctly, dont drop the blower on its nose while installing it, dont abuse the hell out of it, and then bring it back to me and tell me it doesnt work.

The kit comes with all of the "hard parts", meaning you will find yourself at autozone/pepboys to source out some belts, vac hoses, and fuel hose. I would also suggest replacing the bolts that I will be including. The kit has been installed and removed at least 3 times now. Bolts lose their strength the more they're stressed, in addition, some of the bolts are close to being considered stripped (their heads).

To ensure my idea of "includes everything" is the same as yours, here are the larger ticket items that you'll find:

walbro 255lph pump
PS Bracket
PS relocating adapter
Pulley adapter
Blower
Baseplate
IAC Relocator
Jackshaft (with tension adjuster)
Alternator plate
JR EMS and BTC (Piggyback ECU and boost timing controller)
JR FMU (Fuel pressure regulator)
JR Oil relocator kit (whether you need it or not)
9 PSI pulley that i've never installed (I didnt have the money for hondata + injectors)
Stock 6 psi pulley
a KMS MAP blockoff plate (lost the JR MAP relocator, the block off plate blocks off the MAP hole, I then attached a vacume hose to the MAP sensor)

I put a lot of time to make sure I covered everything, please check out for extensive information and pictures (I will repost the pictures here as well):
http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1740392

Its a realy thorough for sale thread that I posted on H-T earlier. I was unable to find a committed buyer. The entire kit is boxed up in my basement. Everything is included.

Email me at leonardtlwong@yahoo.com
call me at 646-335-6876
IM me at FGAHDEEEW

try not to PM me, I dont check as often as I like. Please dont haggle with me, or ask me to throw in this and that, trust me, this is a great deal for a complete kit.

Thank you!

I cant believe the lack of response from you guys :P

This is honestly a "pay it forward" deal. The kit was installed complete and running on my prelude 8 months ago. Made full boost, dyno'd at 238whp, and now it can be yours

Stop hesitating, heh

I think it required a bit of trimming around the intake manifold area, other than that, maybe moving around the power steering stuff. I dont remember exactly, but its been done, and it wasnt at a huge cost.

Are the pictures working for everyone by the way?

After i bought the kit i let it sit in my room as a conversation piece for the next 6 months before installing it
