my front bumper does not have a spot for the side markers. i bought the car used. does that mean my front bumper isn't genuine or something? or do i have to cut into it. sorry. I just got a prelude a month ago. Me Noob.

edit: i am interested in the side markers. just doing a little research before i buy anything. thanks.

It just means that your front bumper is either JDM, or the previous owner had it repainted and the side marker deleted.

no these are side marker lights. blinkers if you will. came on JDM feders. they go in the fender and can either be wired up to your blinker or your parking lights or w/ a relay to both.

The JDM sidemarkers go on the fender as opposed to the bumper like the USDM models had. Since your bumper is already either shaved or JDM, I'd say go ahead and get JDM sidemarkers too. Here's a couple pics. The first one is USDM, the second is JDM.

The JDM sidemarkers really clean up the front bumper and give it a sleeker look
