been using this tranny with no problems for the past i dunno..4 years or so. on my last 120 mile commute to a car show back in october, i started hearing loud metallic noises on the last 8 miles coming home. something's bouncing around in there.
i was still getting into all the gears fine. my bet is that perhaps the lsd needs to be rebuilt since i bought it used from satan_srv back in the day? beats me. maybe its a small problem. maybe its a big problem. i havent opened it.
anywho. i was in a rush to get my car going again (although now i dont remember why i was in such a hurry hahahah), so i just slapped on a spare tranny i had. its been 5 months now and i still dont have the time or the drive to crack it open and figure out what the problem is (translation, been busy messing with the rx7).
so its..?
needs some love from someone handy that wants to fix it up. could be a simple problem. probably isnt though.
the point?
id rather just sell it for real cheap and get some space in my garage because i dont think i'll ever get around to it. i'll ship as long as you pay shipping. taking any offers
