FS: Gold Volk GT-N - 17x7 5x114.3 +44

Okay guys, I'm looking to sell the Volks. I love them, but I'm not happy with the image they portray to my clients and apparently neither is my boss . I'm sure you can understand that. I don't need to sell them, and I don't particularly want to sell them, but I seriously have like 3 sets of wheels in my house, and I've got another set coming. These need to be put to use by someone.

Enough rambling.

The good:

The wheels are 17x7 +44 offset Volk Racing GT-N in gold. They weigh 17 lbs and are a 2-piece wheel so you get real rivets and a real lip. None of that fake Tenzo-R stuff. They also come with the carbon fiber center caps and 215/45 Toyo T1-S. The tires don't have a lot of life left, but they'd make great track tires or street tires for plenty of time while you save up for new tires.

The bad:

There are 2 curb rash marks on one wheel lip that are about 1.5" and 0.5" respectively. Because this is a two-piece wheel the hoop is easily separated from the face and fixed. Most wheel repair shops can do this if you want a perfect wheel. I'll get pics of the rash as soon as I get the wheel cleaned up.

Here are a couple of quick pics of the wheels on the car just so you can see what you're working with. Obviously I will get more pics once the pollen stops sweeping across my fair city.

Okay, I bought these wheels from JoeW right here on PO not long ago and they haven't had a scratch put on them sense. I've probably put 800 miles on the car and other than a protective coating of brake dust, there are no blemishes other than those two curb marks. I'm selling these for what I paid for them: $1000. I would rather not ship them, especially with tires, but I will entertain the idea. The buyer would pay the shipping costs. Please feel free to post here, IM, PM, or email at scottman@NOSPAMuga.edu if you would like to make an offer or talk more about the wheels.

If these don't sell here I'll probably put them on H-T and JDMUniverse but I would really, really rather sell them to someone on PO. I have plenty of references if needed.

They are still available. I've had a few responses but I will entertain offers until someone shows me the money.

Okay guys, I took some quick and dirty pics for you so you could see the curb rash. Please note that this is only 1 of the wheels. I chose to post pics of this one because it is the only one with blemishes. The rest are perfect. I examined the other wheels very closely and saw no other rash at all. I included a penny in some of the pics for size reference.

Also, please realize that this is a very quick job of cleaning the wheel with a sponge and water so they'll look much better after I wax them and send them out. The pollen was literally sticking to the wheels as I was taking pictures. Other than the curb rash they are in pristine condition and looked like brand new wheels after Joe got done waxing them. They will be waxed and cleaned with a Q-Tip if purchased.

Curb rash:

Second curb rash on ONE wheel:

Tire wear:

If you would like to see pics of the other wheels please let me know and I will gladly snap some pics of those too. As always feel free to ask questions or make requests and I'll do my best.

man if i was in the market for wheels, i would buy them.. without the tires tho! good luck with the sell, and bump for a great guy and seller.. these wheels also used to be on Tyler's lude!! Actually.. THOSE ARE HIS OLD WHEELS! And i saw them in person! Sick wheels!!!

What wheels are coming just curious? And are they for the 240. or the lude? I doubt they are for the lude..

Yep, these are Tyler's old wheels, and I wanted them for that reason. BUT, as much as I want to keep them around, I'm not going to hold onto wheels that I'm never going to put back on the car.

VERY GOOD CHOICE!! I was gonna get the rota knock-offs of these!! The D2's!! but they are WAY too heavy for my tastes...

^If I wanted to make a video I'd throw them on the back of the 240. You want to see some smoke? I can hold it all day.

Alright, I'm ending the thread-jack.

C'mon boys, pick up some pimp wheels to replace those busted base wheels.
