Cryo treated Darton MID Sleeved 2.3 liter H22A4 block and More FOR SALE!

I've decided to put an end to my prelude build. Trying to come up with a down payment for a new home for the family and this seems like the only option I have, so here it is.

98-01 H22A4 Sleeved Block

Sleeved by Race Engine Development (patented inventor of the Darton Sleeve).
Sleeved with Darton MID sleeves that have been cryo treated (stronger and more durable than the standard sleeve).
Bored to 89.5mm (2.3 liter).
Has had the balance shafts eliminated and oil ports for the shafts welded.
Less than 1300 total miles since the sleeve job.
Super clean and in perfect condition.
Would be the perfect choice for a high boost H22 application.
Has never been under boost or high stress. I ran this block in my prelude during the break-in period until the #4 ROD bearing spun. Looks like the pressure relief valve in the oil pump failed. I'm fed up with the prelude not able to be driven and I need the money for a down payment on a house. I'm hoping to use the money from the sale to throw a stock engine into the prelude instead. All of the block mains are intact as you can see in the pictures. Only the rod and the rod journal on the crank suffered damage from the leaky head gasket. The bare block and mains remained in perfect shape.
Comes with the invoice from Race Engine Development that includes all the machine work and parts included. Includes the bare block, mains w/girdle, rear plate, front plate with freeze plugs where the balance shafts were removed, Pro Drive Oil pump with new OEM pressure relief valve assembly, water pump with less than 5000 miles, and OEM H23 manual tensioner conversion. I may have more parts to throw in so don't hesitate to ask me if I have some laying around. Tons of potential, just needs a buyer who will finish the build and throw some serious numbers down.

***PRICES REDUCED FOR INCOME TAXES!***
Now you can get the Race Engine Development sleeved H22 block with the Crower rods and OEM crank for only 1800!!!

Check the information below on the rods and crank.

Wiseco 9:1 Compression 89.5mm pistons and Crower I beam billet rods
Great condition, less than 5k miles. The #4 rod suffered scorching from the spun bearing but can most likely be repaired by Crower. I'll let the rods go for cheap because it may have to be replaced, and these go for about $220 per rod through a dealer. I'd send it to Crower and see if they can restore it.
Good compression for turbo applications.
Pistons only: SOLD
Rods only: $300

98-01 OEM H22 Crank (55mm mains)

All journals are great except for the #4 rod journal which fell victim to the spun bearing. This journal will need to be polished before it should be used.
$50

If you're interested in purchasing the entire block or have any questions concerning anything, send me a pm on here or text/call me at 270-473-0226.
If you want the whole assembly above, pm me quick before some of the parts become spoken for.

Not related to the block for sale, I do have an additional H22 crank with 50mm mains for sale that has been knife-edged by Endyn (Energy Dynamics). It also has scorching but on the #3 rod journal instead. The journal will need to be polished before it could be used. Awesome work by Endyn and will improve throttle response and lessen rotating mass. Great for all applications, especially N/A.
$300

You obviously never have anything good to say. I should have ignored you since the first post you made over a year ago. Anyways, I don't think anyone cares about what you say, so I'll just pretend that you never posted anything from here on.

PS. You spelled rhetorical wrong.

^ bahahahaha.....

....by the way my first post was allot longer than a year ago, and thanks for the spelling tip; where i lack in spelling and grammar i more than make up for in engine building.

This is so hilarious, as you ebeefed me so so hard, so bitterly, and in the end you couldnt assemble a well running product. Which is sad, as those parts deserved far, far better than you.

good luck with your house, i hope your reno skills are better than your mechanic skills.

Haha!
Well there's no backing down now! I don't have the ARP fittings to use for a rebuild anymore so I'm forced to sell engine now lol. Plus I don't have my nice oil pan neither...

The "pending" sale has fallen through for now, he's having issues coming up with the money. So the block, crank, rods, and Endyn head are all up for grabs again, at least for the time being.
