It's really pretty pointless to obsess over a minimal weight gain like that. Anybody interested in this piece is probably not interested in power to weight.

Actually, anybody interested in power to weight should probably have picked a different car.

Oh please lets get this thread going. Now he'll sell it.
...
So... But the prelude is a light car and the part is just for looks.
Some people would consider that "ricer"

It looks nice and shiny.

Whats next carbon fiber faux fender grilles?!

I can see carbon fiber eyelids...
All other carbon fiber parts replace useful/existing pieces, mirros, hood, fenders,
Yah know

Oh its not light. well its lighter than a comparable 94 accord.
Here some evidence, took 2 seconds to find something about how its relatively light.

No fender grilles for this guy. I hate that kind of stuff.

And what do you prove by comparing the Prelude's weight to that of a 94 Accord? The Chevette is lighter than a 03 Cobra. So what?

Besides, we're talking about the 5th gen, since that's the car this visor goes on. It weighs over 3000 pounds, yet might put a paltry 160ish hp to the pavement. Who's the sucka now?

Errrr.... no
1997-2001 Honda Prelude: Technical Specifications - Consumer Guide Automotive

HONDA PRELUDE

It (a 97-01 prelude)ways under 3,000 first of all.
Im comparing like cars an accord in almost in the same class as a prelude. Im speaking about preludes IN GENERAL. a chevette and a 03 cobra are not even made around the same time.

boom

The 5th gen and the 94 Accord weren't made around the same time, either.

But this visor isn't made for a 94 Prelude.

What are you saying then? Are you saying that this cf visor thingy is gonna make my 5th gen Prelude slower? Do you have anything factual to base that on, or are you just speculating?

No not 97 a 98 becuase thats when accord changed over the next style.
Yes Thats exactly what I'm saying. Of course it will not really be noticeable and is almost insignificant.
It is a fact added weight/pieces is gonna reduce your acceleration, topspeed, and increase wind resistance.

Get it ?

I get that you don't really have the first clue what you're talking about.

Keep going, though..... I'm enjoying this.
