is it worth it?

So recently after driving my friends subaru sti (2005), I have came to the realization that my lil lude is not the most powerful or best handling car in the world (obviously). Here's a little background on my story. I came from driving a pos datsun 510 station wagon that leaked exhaust fumes in the cabin, had a ****ed up everything, and couldn't go passed 55 mph even on a downhill sometimes. Then by the grace of God I got my baby. She is a 2000 type sh. She is well taken car of and is my savior from that piece of Crap I used to drive. I think my favorite part about my car is the handling (as it whooped cars like rsx integras wrx some bmws a porche and any American car in the corners). She has a lot of grip haha. My point is I w ant power without sacrificing the handling. Kind of like the suby my friend has.
Here's my point. I found this guy on craigslist that has a 1993 rx7 fd twin turbo with 124k on the motor and chassis. The car looks good but the bad thing is that it needs its engine to be rebuilt . Guy says it'll be around 2k to do that. Should i sell my car and take this car since I think it'll be more powerful and fd's are known for their handling? My goal is to eventually trade the rx7 with someone for an evo 8-9. I really want something reliable with a turbo. Do you think I can do it? Just thought id ask since I don't know a thing about rotarys . Any input will be helpful and i apologize if this doesn't make sense.

Don't know anything about Rotary engines? Want something reliable? Do yourself a favor and don't buy an RX7.

save your money until you have enough for an evo or whatever you really want.

IMO some of the cars you mentioned suffer from weak exterior and interior design. Yeah, their performance might be all good and all, but is that the only reason you wanna switch from the Lude?

None of the cars you mentioned look better than a Prelude. That is just my opinion.
