Having trouble finding anything more than a 5-link double wishbone rear but you might check these out
Here

or here

try this too...

edit: 1997 Honda Accord Handling
-ABS
-4.062:1 axle ratio
-Four disc brakes including two ventilated discs
-Spacesaver steel rim internal spare wheel
-Wishbone front and rear suspension with stabilizer bar independent with coil springs

Ya i found both of those but neither really shows that the prelude has a unique chassis like many of us think it does...

sounds childish as hell you want to argue about this with your so called "friend." you're not his dad, let him do what he wants and just laugh at him in the end

lol.

Accordinglydone.com
vs
preludeonline

Thats how i read this entire thing.

The accordinglydone apeople think their car is just as good or better than the prelude, and the preludeonlinee people think their cars are superior to the accords.

My opinion:
Assuming each is: H22a equipped and modified suspension
4th gen accord vs 4th gen prelude prelude
4th gen accord vs 5th gen prelude base accord due to weight difference mostly
4th gen accord vs 5th gen prelude SH Prelude SH

This is just my opinion. But the lighter the better. Though the preludes suspenion is not designed for ride comfort, like the accords is. The suspension geometery on the accord is horrible, and its great on the prelude.

The chassis are different. The accord has a less torsionally ridig chassis, which makes a huge difference.

Ya im not trying to convince him anymore, even if i did he has already bought the engine and all the mods he plans to do on it. Now this is just a matter of trying to find out information just so i know its true. I want to know that we have a unique chassis and that honda gave us a suspension that was superior to other cars in its line up at the time. So now im just trying to learn and expand my knowledge of this car. So and i think it would be childish to just sit here and say "ya our preludes are better cause we just know they are" without having any facts to back it up. So once again if anyone has any real info on the prelude having a unique or stronger chassis than the accord please let me know.

you don't need to touch a flame to know it's hot

anyway you might want to talk to honda.. i actually found a dealership that was so uneventful that they were willing to help me dig up information on paint cause i was 'arguin' with some people about what color pearls are in which paints haha

have you also tried absoluteprelude.com? they have alot of info there but i haven't gone through it all to know if it has what you need
