holy crap, i've put in about 3 hrs worth of search time. i've searched ebay for parts, i've searched yahoo for sites that sell parts. i can't find any European honda dealerships with a parts section of their site. anybody else...?
Ya, there seems to be no such thing as an online parts catalog for UK preludes, pretty crappy. I guess those guys have to actually walk into a dealership to ask for a part. I was hoping for find the UK guage cluster (looks better then the JDM one) as well as the heated seats option. Wasn't this available for Canadian Preludes? Is there a parts catalog for Canadian ludes?

hmm that's a good idea... the canadians do have some cooler stuff. what i REALLY want is the "VTi 2.2L vtec" decal. here i'll let you in on something little that i found on ebay... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT
not sure if this is edm and jdm or just edm, but i thought it was kinda nifty anyways.

I don't work at a dealer; so if you guys can help me make a list I will head to a dealers after work and get prices for you
I'll probably go Fri night or Sat morning, also bear in mind UK Prices are high from dealers, eg. a $17 part would be = £17 over here so its actually about = $32.
ie. a water pump over here costs £114 = approx $200
Can I ask for the year of your cars as well please?
1. ughhhead - 1999 - VTi 2.2L VTEC
2. camarokiller - 5G heated seats options & Button
3. Vic - 1927 rusty 5G - ****s and giggles, front lip and f a g onboard light and switch
4. Busie23 - 5G, front fogs and switch (Not sure if these were JDM only btw)
holy poop dick batman! that's expensive, oh well. i have a 99 base. hey when you go to a dealer, can you ask them if they have any online parts catalog? thanks a ton for doing some research for us USA kids!
EDIT: I was searching around and went to Prelude UK 's personal website. He's got tons of pictures of both EDM 5th gens that hes owned. Check out the pictures! Look at the factory wheels that they came with! I personally love the way they look. It's defninitely more original than JDM. That decal is beautiful! I want it bad! Just do a search for him by member ID and go to his site.
Prelude UK i hope you not mind me directing traffic towards your website. I must say both of your cars a VERY nice looking. Your red one was gorgous!
I can't believe anyone would want a EDM rear bumper lamp! A lot of people there would like to get rid of them.
The EDM market for OEM parts sucks. The only items worthwhile are F/R bumper crash parts (cheaper than in the US). The only problem is that they are too expensive to ship.
Best bet is po member beaty when he puts up group buys for JDM parts.

I'm much more concerned with the options (wheels, ground effects) and the interior parts (heated seats, guages). Not that I want to have them shipped from the UK, I just want to browse the parts available for them so I know what I want to buy from an importer, make sense?
DS2000: Can you check for me on the seated seats option for driver and passenger, as well as the switch and any wiring that comes with it? I don't know if they sell it together as a package, but any info would be very helpful. Thanks!

^ No problem, if the dealer is too expensive I could check with a few UK breakers if you'd like?
I'm not sure what wiring would be involved; I'd assume your seats already have the plug under them for the heated option and somewhere in the dash loom will be a switch connection - I'll double check to be sure though
The heated seats you can get from Canada. Parts you will need are:
Seat heating elements
Wires from seat to internal mutliplex unit (for both left and right seats)
Door harnesses (for both left and right doors...yes you have to swap out the USDM ones to accomodate the switches)
Switches
I would approximate the cost to be about $1000US. They are not cheap.

holy crap, $1,000? I wonder if this stuff ever shows up on ebay from some junkyard. That'll be the only way I end up with it.
yep. The heating elements are going to kill you as well as shipping. I can't fathom how much shipping would be from either Canada to you or UK to you. Heated seats are rare on ebay.
