Buy an Accord Type R pulley. It's an OEM part and it only has the alternator ring. Less than $100 from www.AJ-Racing.com.
how much does the euro r weigh over the stock h22 one , cause Im looking for every bit I can get out of the motor. And how long will it take for the pulley to get to me.
^ the one I posted above is the single pulley alternator, it weighs 1 lb. I know the stock one weighs like 12........input.
stock vs euro r is like a 1/2 lb difference if that. and the crank pulley stock weighs about 6 lbs.
my thing is has anyone ever ran the ultra r on there car before. It weighs one lb. My car will not see too much stop and go daily driven stuff, I will have another car to drive, it will be mainly a weekend, night car, and track, ect.
I was going to run that one, but the cost (for me) was too prohibitive. And more importantly, even though I don't want to wade into a huge debate, those solid crank pullies *might* be bad for your engine over the long haul. I wanted to stick with a known quantity and OEM Honda is just that.
i have heard this is not a mod for the lude !!i think your oil pressure will drop , but im not shure on this ...before you do this ask someone that has one and go from there good luck with this and let us know how it works out for you ..
