ATTS warning light came on
Just bought a 2000 Prelude SH. I am in love with this car.... well so far. But I am getting a weird one im sure you old schooler ludes may know about. As driving all of a sudden the power fails. then comes back.. fails, comes back.. then
ATTS warning light comes on. it is as if it was an electric car and someone pulled the plug and then replugged it back in.. Pulled the plug and plugged it back in then the ATTS light comes on. It stalled once and restarted right away but not sure what the heck is going on. Any ideas guys? Im perplexed and a Merry Christmas to you all and thanks for any help you can give before I get bent over at the Honda dealers..
Ok, changed spark plug wires, rotor and cap. Stopped ATTS light.. for a while. Now, when you stand on it and push the car.. It starts to buck a bit like its starving for fuel, But!! Sometimes even when you baby it.. Its as if it were an electric car and you just unpluged it and the car bucks RPM's drop to zero and its as if its plugged back in.. Ok, not loving this car so much right now. Running 94 Chevron Octane. Even went with a injector cleaner for four fill ups. Also when you push it. the ATTS light came on and so did the engine light.. Lasted for a short time. Let it cool and lights went out. Anyone have some TNT they could spare? Found a small auto shop, have been told the mechanic has a VTEC SH like mine. Lets see what happens on Monday if the can put it on the computer. Any thoughts out there from you techies??? Muchly appreciated.. Ok I still love the car... For now.
