Vertical Door Kit

Hey check this site out.
www.decah.net
Right now all they have is a civic with the doors which I think looks rice, but I think it might look pretty sweet on a 4th gen prelude. What do you guys think. They are making it for Integras, RSX's, Celicas, MR2s and Eclipses, We should all contact them so they dont leave us out.

I hope they leave us out. I'll cry if I see a prelude looking like that. Just my opinion though

interesting, don't think I'd do it to my car, but I know to have that done custom costs an arm and a leg. Wonder how much the kit will be. The nice part about it seems to be the direct bolt on. Meast you can go back if you want. Most custom jobs luke that, don't even think about changing your mind.

It doesnt say a price on the website but I read in the sport compact mag that it said you can get this mod for cheaper than a set of rims and it is a do it your self bolt on that can take 30 min to an hour depending on skill.

I had a friend with a civic who was getting a sponsor to do it for him.
It still was gonna cost him 1k a door.

I wanna see that on a 4 door civic... hahaha. I don't feel this at all, but each is entitled to their own opinion. Kinda funny how it would be considered "rice" on a civic but "tight" on a prelude.

That's It sorda looks like a Transformer or even a car from Mask.

BUT

I don't think it's practical. I'd rather put my money to use for something else like rims etc. It's one of those things that looks cool the first few times, then it's like ehhh...

Then again could you imagine if a hinge or someting failed/broke and your leg was sticking out of your ride? Bye, bye leg! Ouch.

I used the term rice wrong. I mean for a boxy car it doesnt really look that good, thats why I said it might look good on a 4th gen prelude cause its sleek and sexy. Lets not get into the "rice" discussion though, I just wanted everyones opinion on it.

I have emailed them. There will probably NOT be a prelude specific kit (maybe if we could prove this would have a maket they'd consider it) BUT there will be a universal kit sooner or later.
These will run approx $1500 for the kit and the company claims install complete in 1-2 hrs.
