Unblocked my EGR... idle is now higher?

I took off my EGR blocking plate to see if I can recover some gas mileage and now my idle is higher! Its at 1k - 1.1k and only drops to ~800 if I turn on the a/c. I'm gonna adjust the idle w/ the screw on the TB.

Any idea why this would happen? I had the blocking plate on there for almost a year and a half

It will probably come back down as the car has an oppourtunity to 'relearn' the idle.

I found a leak where the hose from my TB attaches to my oil catch can. I didn't clamp the hose when I installed it a few months ago and now its leaking

I think I'll reset the computer anyways, thanks
