I wanted the car to stay n/a and be tuned where it ran its best all the time. I also didn't want to risk blowing the motor with all that has been invested in it.
I did however change the slipping clutch. Just now finishing breaking in a CM Stage 3 and also a new CM 10 lb. flywheel. That flywheel feels a lot different!
My spark plugs were also fouling out as it turns out...they finally got so bad they almost quit altogether...replaced those and voila....the car is running strong again.
No more octane booster...just Amoco or Texaco 93. That crap fouled my plugs out FAST!.
Let me know when you want to go to Steele again.
I am gonna take a couple of weeks off first though...getting into the swing of raising two babies instead of just one.
Stop by sometime and I'll take you for a ride with the new flywheel and clutch set up. No more of that sputtering stuff either.

cool man.......i was thinking of heading to reynolds next friday...just got the car running decent with the n20...dynoed it last thursday and it made 447 hp at the wheels!!! thats around 525 hp at the crank....also it would have made around 700 ft/lbs i'm thinking but when i tried to hit the nitrous at 3000 rpm the tires spun on the dyno rollers!!!!
i'm going to make some adjustments and i'm shooting for it to make close to 550 hp when i'm done....
Maybe I can make the trip next Friday. I'll have to check with the wife and see how it goes this week. If I get a baby sitter for Olivia then I can go. Shannon will have to stay with Julia though.
Aren't they precious ! I've only said this a billion times before, but to say again, congrats, Daddy-O !

Before you get too attached, you need top put those suckers up on Ebay and finance some new mods. I'm sure a matching pair like that will go for a lot more than one odd kid.
