wat r u talking about?? put wat on 12's. No when tuning, you dont have to have a wideband o2 sensor.. not many shops can afford one.. as they are $1000+ for one and can only be used so many times b4 it goes bad. They also would have to weld an o2 bung onto yr header collector which also. cost more money. Some shops have o2 sensors where they put on yr mufflers.. but they are not as accurate. When I tune yr car... ill tune it good ok?? dont worry and quit messing with yr v-afc. without a wideband o2 sensor.. its just pretty much trial and error and might take me a lil longer.. but in the end.. ill tune it as good as if i had a wideband. It doesnt matter..

i was just joking.. was bored and just thought I should stumble on this board to c what kind of stuff you post.
I tried to tune yr car the best i can on my butt-dyno, but that is only limited, That hesitation @ redline when you increased the fuel was because it was running rich.. you can mess with adding fuel, but I dont reccommend that you take away fuel, as you run into the problem of running lean which can cause detonation.. which can cause yr motor to go kablooy. the process of tuning a car is pretty much just trial and error.. whatever makes power. You would start with ignition timing (since you cant mess with that on a 5th gen.. then thats not something to worry bout), then vtec setting, and cam gear tuning, then vtec setting again, then micro tuning the fuel with the v-afc, then ignition timing.

One question though with people with stage 2 cams in a stock prelude.. what was the max you guys went on yr cam tuning. Is +4, =4 ok??

Well are you talking about the setting on the gears man? or the fuel on V-afc. On the gears i'm remebering it +2 +2 and anoher at +2 -1 this is the seting on some of our member but not much is said.

I did some run with Tuan (RSX) and KIem (white del sol) I kill both of the at the launch man .However, they gain on me bout close to the end of second gear, and third they just pass me like crazy. kinda like you passing Phuc. So i'm thinking i'm haing some problem with the vtec. Cuz before i kill them day and night oes't matter the time man

this will prob be my last post on preludeonline as I keep having to have to make a new user name.. andmy pw doesnt seem to work.. o well

There is nothing wrong with yr vtec.. just not tuned. It's prob losing a lot of power because of the x tra fuel u added causing it to run rich. i believe after I tune it.. your top end will be a lot better. Im talking about the cam gears... i think you meant +2 intake and -2 exhaust. When the intervals between the intake cam and exhaust cam goes farther apart.. you are creating an overlap which tends to shift the powerband higher... meaning you lose a lil bit of low end but gain top end. In order to realize to max potential of any cams,, it needs to be dyno tuned as butt-dyno's dont usually mean n e thing. What i was referring to is what is the maximum settings.(max overlap) i can do on yr cam settings b4 there is any piston-valve contact or valve to valve contact. On most cars.. with stage 2 cams.. +4 intake and -4 exhaust is the max.. but I will most likely only go +3 -3 if I need to on yr cam settings to be safe.. I would hate to blow yr engine up. I believe after yr dyno tuning.. you would be a lot quicker.
