Tree 1 vs. Lude 0 - Updated!

Well up here in PA we had a ton of snow drop over the past few weeks, well last wednesday the tree in front of my house decided it had enough with the snow and it was going to take it out on my prelude...

couldnt get too close to my prelude, the tree slid off the house pulling down the powers wires, cable, and the meter gauge all onto my car,.. if it wasnt for the whole snow = ice = water + electricity thing i wouldve gotten better pictures of it...

and..

in the shop as we speak getting a new coat of paint and all those damn emblem holes filled in too!..

will be nice to have a fresh coat of paint all around

Ouch! Sorry to hear that.

Hope it doesn't end up being too expensive.

Welcome to PO by the way.

Yea insurance is covering it all for the most part, .. i always keep full coverage on my vehicles, finally paid off

So far about 2k-ish in body damages, but the suspension and electrical is getting checked this next week, .. the arc from the live wire mustve shorted something out,.. hopefully just a battery and not the ECU, and the car was just pressed for a few days with a lot of weight on it,.. looked like i cut the springs when the tree was laying on it,..

Im taking this as a sign to start putting some more attention into my lude and start the upgrades

Damn that sucks...Well now that your car is being painted, you should have them paint your stock sides and rear to match the car as well

The OP has an SH, so they already are painted to match from the factory.

Thanks, got a new grill, OEM front lip, and jdm fogs, but this damn snow won't let up so it'll have to wait a bit longer for any more work. Just gives me more time to find some mugen sides/rears. Ill take better pics when I can get a clear shot without all this snow.

Hmmm, didn't even know...Don't say I should've looked at the rims, cause I also have SH rims as back ups but yet both of my cars are Base
