Tire Pressures...

Hi everyone,

I have a quick question regarding tire pressures.

I recently bought some Pirelli P6000 SportVeloce Tires(205-55-15) for my 4th gen Prelude. The sidewall on them displays : "MAX PRESSURE: 44 PSI".

Do you suggest that I should fill them up to 44 psi or am I supposed to put less in for better performance. I ask this because 44 seems a bit high.

Thanks!

Personally, I would use somewhere between 34-38 psi. The only time I would excess the 44 psi is during autocrossing. There are people we autocross with that freuqently exceed the 51 psi max pressure on the Azenis and seem to be fine, I intend to do the same this weekend.

i suggest going by what it says in your manual. The car manufactor is always right when it comes to tire pressure.
