Timing and Pinging
Can you time your car by aiming at the crank pulley?

Right now, I am getting pinging under load @ low rpms. I have replaced distributor, wires, plugs. Anything else I can do?

Timing is adjusted using a timing light aimed at the flywheel through the timing plug on the block. Set your timing to 15 degrees (stock) by adjusting the distributor.
