Thoughts on Tokico HP struts...

I've done a search on it and so far, it seems to be mixed reviews (from the bits and pieces I manage to weed through the threads). I'm looking into buying these struts and using Neuspeed sport springs (green) on them. This is going into my 4th gen which is just a daily driver. I don't plan on doing any road racing, autocross, or pretty much aggressive driving. I pretty much just want a soft setup for daily driving comfort, and I hope these are good / are able to last a few years w/ a drop.

I don't mind spending the extra money for better struts. I was considering into buying either a set of KYB AGXs or Koni Yellows, but for what I'm looking for, I think it may be overkill.

I run the AGX's and they are far from overkill. Koni yellows may be unnecessary for a DD. When I was shock shopping I had considered Tokicos too.

The plus about the AGX's is that you'll be able to dial them to a setting that helps with "comfort". 1 is very soft and the 4 setting is stiffer than stock.

hmm... okay. I might consider the AGXs a bit more then.

Tokico Illumina shocks /struts are overkill, but if money is not a concern get them, arguably the best you can get, some might say Tein Ha's are better.
