Do those thermo wraps even make that big of a difference? I remember hearing about someone using something like that on their DC ceramic header, and it cracked on them.

yeah ceramic headers can crack when wrapped, it's not common practice because of it. wrapping the exhaust system can produce gains because hotter gas flows faster by nature, fyi.

Which is why when I'm finished with my custom exhaust for the turbo I'm going to Jet Hot the whole thing.

The point of the ceramic coating is to hold in heat, so wrap would be redundant.
