Do you do any type of competitions such as autox or road racing? If not, definately the SS. If you do, then figure out which means more to you, a slight advantage on the track, or more comfort around town.

I'd go SS then.

Its my daily driver and I love to tear up the twisties and they've worked great for both. I'd like them with a little higher spring rates, but these will do. I have them on 14/14 right now and its fine on the street, even with my 18s with 35 series tires.

I'm going to get the Type Flex after I save up on a little more dough. I think that it's better, because you don't adjust your height ride from the springs perch, instead you adjust the whole shock and not affect the spring/shock travel. So, wouldn't it be more comfortable to do that??? With the SS, you adjust the spring's perch to adjust the height, and doing that changes the spring load. With my Tanabe Sustec Pro, the ride is really comfortable when it's on the lowest setting, not to much load on the spring, but when I try raising it, all it did was compress the spring and the ride got really stiff. But then again, that's a different brand suspension. Well, that's my opinion anyway. I say go the extra mile!!!

well on the comfort issue, if you get the flex, you get 2 things that make the ride harsher: 1 stiffer spring rates. 2. pillowball mounts. so i dont know how much you gain with that whole shock adjustment stuff. plus i dont like my car to be slammed that low anyway, so i think itll be good

since it's a daily driver and you want some comfort to go along w/ the better handling, then get the SS....flex will be better for track tho, but you could always get them an tell us how bad they are for daily driving ::
