suspension problem

I recently put in my teins and its been making "popping" noises when I turn the steering wheel too far or too fast or something. It happens whenever I turn too fast or turn too far, then it the right/left side makes a popping noise and I can feel it too, but this has been happening for a while now but there seems to be no mishaps yet (knocks on wood).

Any guesses? Could it be the front suspension is turning and not locked in place?

Sounds like the CV joint as well. Check it for tears or leakage.

How much are you lowered?

So if it is the CV joint is it dangerous to drive?
How much will it cost for a shop to replace?
How much is the new joint going to cost?
Thanks...

Would a bad cv boot coincide with a bad cv joint? Cuz when a cv boot goes bad, you can distinvtivley see either a rip or tons of oil around it. Could he confirm that way?
