so my engine swap is done, my euro-r runs VERY smooth compared to my h22a1, it's very quiet, has A LOT of engine response, we had some idle problems... idle going to 3000 rpms, purely throttle cable related so far the shop thinks the idle problem has been fixed..., also my power steering pump decided to break so i'm trying to buy one right now... so if anyone is selling one hit me up with a pm or something...
anyways so we have my h22a1 just laying in the shop right now, and we want to keep it in my garage, but how am i going to get it off of my truck onto the ground of the garage without a cherry picker? anyone has any suggestions? the engine still has the old tranny on it and everything so i don't know what to do...

Well, I know I could dead lift my tranny on my own. You might want to separate the two and try to lift them down. You definatly want a strong buddy to help with the block though, it is fairly heavy. Other wise you could try rigging a block and takle to the rafters in the garage, back the truck in, lift the engine, pull the truck out, and drop the engine.
hm... since i am 110 lbs myself (when you guys meet me at the next meet that i can go to, you will understand how little i am), i can't lift anything... i guess i will try to use your cross beam technique, but the way i forgot to say I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW

hey man, i'm trying to sell it for 800 do you guys think the beam in a house's garage could support a 600 lb engine? there has to be a cheap way to do this without buying a cherry picker... i just want to move the stupid thing....
