Well, as some of you know, I sold the Prelude. I have finished my testing on parts, and my book is about ready for press. I sold it yesterday for a good price to an older gentleman who I hope will take good care of her. I was going to do testing on the JUN kit, and the Crower cams, but I was tired of waiting for the parts to come to market. So the Lude is now gone. That was my 3rd and final Prelude. I have posted a partial list of items on the For sale forum, and there will be more added as I find them, or remember what they are. I am also about to sell my little Civic HB. I have grown tired of tuning Honda vehicles, and am moving on to something else. Not saying the Hondas aren't good, because they are, but I have done all I can do with them. My wife still has her Type R and that is good enough. Just letting you guys know, that the stuff for sale is posted.

I'm not going anywhere. And hopefully that M3 will get here. The new rumor is that they will be here in August. I am trying to convince the wife to let me have an IS300 while I wait. those cars are excellent. Even the Auto tranny is slick. but the M3 is more brute force. I would love to have both. But I need to convince the better half.

while it's no M3, that is300 is a beast. The manual tranny version will be a joy to work with no doubt+ it has more aftermarket support than any car currently on the market. Japanese guys go gaga over altezzas.

Hey Spite, Yeah, I am writing a book called "Big Block Hondas." It is a Tuning guide for all H, F and C series Honda motors. the book kind of caters to the 4th gen Prelude Vtec, but there is great info in there about the H22 engine for both the 4th and 5th gen. There is also info on the S and Si models. I have a couple of chapters on the NSX. It should be out this fall in most bookstores.
If I can convince the wife to let me have an IS300 as well, It will be the Automatic version. And it won't be modified. It will be the long distance travel car. The M3 will modded to no end. I can't wait.

I thought about selling mine.

I love how it drives...but lets face it..its a money pit..and I don't mean unreliable..I mean...I keep sinking lots and lots of $$$$ in it on making it faster. It never stops. Now that we have two babies it has two strikes against it.

Thought about finding a 4 door that was fast and tuning that...at least it would still serve a justifiable purpose.

If I was rich...like Dr. James.. ...I would keep it for sure....but everyone knows what I do for a living...and its not breaking 6 figures..lol.

Thought about a WRX for a newer car....or a 93-94 SHO with a s/c. I can get a SHO really cheap..so who cares if i have to fix it. The WRX is a good idea..reliable too..but the price might be a bit too high...we already have one new car.

Ofcourse if I do get rid of the lude..withdrawal time...lol....it is hard to find a car I have beenthis happy with!!

Dr James:
Stay b/c we all want to hear about your M3 adventures At least we can live our dream through you.

Warren: Hey, you might not make 6 figures, but we need people like you on the road Mmmm, the WRX is a nice choice, I really wanted that car, but oh well. How about a used 4 door integra? I always love those, clean, room for 5, fairly quick, and not too expensive.

hey Dr. James, let us know when your book comes out! i'll make sure i get a copy even if i can't understand a thing in it or maybe we can organize a groupbuy for the autographed copies

Warren, have you seen the WRX wagon? my friend's friend just got one and it looks about 20 times better than the sedan, while having the same specs and more room for diapers

Hey Dr, James I drove a 92 Mercedes 500E yesterday and that is the baddest car I have ever driven, because Mercedes just aren't supposed to be that fast. Not only that but there was only 1200 made. The car had some minor bolt ons also. The rims on it were off of the fronts of a brand new CLK and the interior was jet black leather.

I am totally recommending this car as your family car! You can think me later after you drive one.

Yeah, forget the car, I just wanted to read on the rims, but they didn't mention anything when I skimmed it. Hmm, when will those be ou, hopefully before the end of summer.

I've heard about the wagon. But I don't know.....money is the issue here. I can get a SHO very very cheap, and our last SHO MTX ran high 14's completely stock.

I am gonna take a look at the WRX..see if its possible though.

I don't really like the Integra 4 door though, and to me its not fast enough without a s/c. I know a guy with a s/c Integra GS-R four door, and before my motor build we were running neck and neck at the strip.

Vortech makes a s/c for the SHO though that would drop it into the high 12's easily..with the MTX.

Hey Warren, the SHO is a bad ass car. isn't the motor made by Yamaha? I have always liked those cars, and I am not a big fan of newer Fords. You should certainly check out that WRX. they have three at our local Dealer, but none of them are for sale. They are displays only. the dealer said that they are gonna sell for about $23,500. That's not too bad for a car of that caliber. And they actually did a good job on the interior, not the typical chessey Subaru look.
And as for me having a load of cash, lets remember here, I work VERY hard for my money, and I am certainly not pulling 6 figures. Plus the fact that my wife pulls down good money, and understands my desire to have nice toys helps. Your profession is very noble, and there needs to be more of your types on the street. I wanted to be a cop, but I can't pass the physical requirements, i Had a life altering injury while playing football. SO in a way I envy your career. Granted Cops don't get compensated well for what they do, but we need them none the less.

SHO's are an easy find out here... for cheap too.

SHO motor is yes a 24v yamaha 6-cyl. mate'd to a mazda rex tranny I believe... until the new body style came out with a v-8 in the SHO.

They are pretty damn strong performer's for taurus's.
