The Snowed Over Thread

Woke up to some fresh POW this morning...first of the season.

Anyways, got this idea from another forum, so post a picture and where you're located. I will start.

Highs are still in the low 50's here. Very warm weather for this time of year in the Midwest. Around this time last year, this happened:

Holy icicles man! how cold was it then?

I have another snow day again We have had 52 cm (20 inches) of snow in the last 3 days, according to the news.

This was taken this morning.

It was in highs in the low 20's when that happened IIRC. That ice was about 1/4" thick, couldn't go anywhere for about 3 days. Still took a few hours of chipping away at the ice to get one of my doors open a few days later. Ripped my hood emblem off too.

Compare that weather with today's. It was 60 degrees outside at 6:00 this morning when I left for work. WTF.

^ next time pour warm water, wait a few seconds and wipe it dry with a rag.

Chipping away is a huge no no and can damage all sorts of things.

-45c here in dead-monton, AB...not as much snow as you, but cold as HELL. fortunately the lude is in hibernation. my accord is getting destroyed though, it still starts even with a 10 year old OEM battery without being plugged in, but had to plug it in last night though because it was so cold.

so sad, I saw a really low teggy type R, looked like it was used as a snow plow.
