Gerhard,

Would you mind posting what color wires on the Bosch sensors go with what wires on the stock wiring? I'd really appreciate it.

thanks,
dev

Bad front hub bearings.

I recommend that you just replace both of them at the same time.

I'd also just replace the hubs too.

Don't remember... but I can tell you that the sheet that came with the sensor was correct.

I can't get the wheel to move along any non-steering axis, (doesn't feel like there was any play at all in the bearings) is the problem so subtle that it isn't revealed by the usual grab and yank suspension test?

You mentioned a ball joint as well, which one, and was it showing any simptoms?

Thanks Gerhard, this has been driving me up the walls for ages!

I suspect the ball joint needs to be replaced... but it's not the cause of the noise.

Also, neither of my wheels oul dbe moved by hand either. It's just not an effective test.

I figured it out because I had the classic symptom of warped rotors... but the rotors were fine.

Sounds tempting. I might give it a go. UK Ludes just have one O2 sensor.
