should I ge this checked?

I don't know if its just me but I'm almost my shifter is getting harder to shift. The shifts aren't as smooth as it used to be. I had a dc short shift kit in but it broke and I've left it stock since. I drove my friends teg the other day and a mx-6 today, both of them as a lot smoother then mine. Back to honda?

Only if...

Other places have looked at it and they can't fix it, or it's still under factory or extended warranty!!!

the warranty that comes w/ the car is 36,000 miles or 3 years is it? from when the car was made

extended is 7 years w/ 100,000 miles which is what i have

synchros break when u shift hard into ur gears and pound ur gearbox.....or when u make them work hard to rev match for u, if u rev match, spend less time on the clutch, and shift softly (slowly if need be) ur synchros shud be fine until like 100,000 miles (or more)

Well i got my car in Aug of 2000. Since then i've put on 42k miles so I guess I'm off my warrenty..... and I don't think the 42k miles were easy either many hard shifts... many shots of nos.... extreame clutch... for some reason I love the way the thires chirp on second and third... many burnouts just for fun..... I deserve this don't I? Well anyone know what I'm looking at for cost to fix/replace/repair my syncros?
