Rsr Exmag is in!! ::pic::

Just finished installing the Exmag a while ago. Looks great sounds great and I can feel a big difference in power. I took some pictures but I don't know how to post them. I thought it would come in handy since I could not find any picture of the Exmag on a 5 gen. I think this is the best money I've spent on the lude so far. Yes yes yes very happy!!!

I would be happy to post the pictures if someone will give me a couple of pointers on how.

Jesse

I'm glad you like the RS*R I have one too

But wrong forum, and to post a picture, you have to host it on a webserver like www.imagestation.com, and copy/paste the URL of the picture in [IMG] tags when you post

well...it should omit more carbon monoxide...but nothing like rotting eggs if you were to get a high-flow cat or no cat at all.

I got one too. I noticed a gain, but it wasn't as big of a gain as the short ram I got recently. welcome to the RS*R club

oh and the smell could be the degreaser you or the shop used to loosen your stock exhaust bolts.

I put mine on this past weekend..took all of 20 minutes to install. It took me longer to take it out of the packing than to put it on....The best $450 I have spent in a long time...I'd recommend this catback to anyone who wants a quiet exhaust and it sounds a lot better than stock!

It took me a little longer then 20 min. to take the stock exhaust off. About 60 min longer. All becouse of 1 bolt It took 1 wrench out and I had to use a lot of lub, but I got it. all in all it came out very well.

I should have more (cleaner) pictures in a day or two.

I ordered an RS*R Exmag from Tim at Next-Gear, and I should receive it in a week or so. It's nice to be reassured that I made a good choice!

BTW, Next-Geat has great prices and great customer service. If you're thinking about an RS*R exhaust, he's the guy who you should talk to.

the smell is just residue on the new exhuast. Exhaust related items tend to smell for a short period (a week) while they get hot enough to burn whatever is on them off.

The power that i felt was at low and mid rpms. didn't really feel that much of a gain at the higher rpms.. But what you do gain is very noticable. As for the clip I'm trying to get my hands on a digital camcorder. I will post it as soon as i can.

Everyone is always giving mad props to the RSR but I've never even heard one. I can't wait to hear it! Personally the only exhaust I have ever heard that was without a doubt BAD ASS was the Mugen.

It's been said already but I love my Ex-mag also.

Hey, Jon like WhOa, the one you are speaking of is the gtII. It is not available for the 5th gen. The EX-MAG is awesome though. I doubt it gives the gains BUT I've had cops look DIRECTLY at mine and not blink an eye. It is the most stealth aftermarket unit I have seen. It does have the advantage of sounding hardcore without sounding brash. That's good stuff.
