Where exactly are the bulbs for the climate/fan speed control & the 'position' control as on occasion, both of them tend to just shut off. I really want to have them back on as it just looks so plain and lonely without those lights for some reason.
are they the little mini bulbs deals? Or 168 wedge bulbs?

Don't get the colored ones, I wasted my money on them and you can barely see them when its pitch black
The problem is (IgnacioLT probably already knows this) the buttons and the gauges have an amber filter, so if you get a blue bulb, the light still goes through the amber and probably won't be blue. If you get red for example, it will be really dark because the light goes through the red bulb, then amber filter.
I have red, I like it and I am used to it, but it is pretty dark compared to stock
Well I found something but I don't think its the best option, just don't say I didn't warn you when you try it and don't like it.
I have been wanting blue climate control lights without the time consuming labor for a long time. I have already done the cruise contro, sunroof, dimmer and that took forever. So after considering it would take me over a month of spare time to do the climate control I decided to buy a spare one and got lucky on ebay, less than 20 bucks with shipping!!! Then I found some guy on there selling a "kit" of led's that you have to solder for yourself. The only problem is that you have to take off each individual button from the face of the climate control and pry off the amber filter. I thought that this was a good idea untill I noticed that pulling off the buttons actually breaks the two "clips" that holds them on. They buttons still stay on the climate control, but they can very easily fall off or be removed. This is the reason I stopped trying to do the conversion a few months ago. I still have the spare climate control in my closet, but I don't have the time or will to try again.
Here is the link to the site that shows you how to do this conversion. Do it at your own risk (then show me pics of how it came out )
