Red Line Light indicator?

I have googled all around and searched the forum and read severals pages of results, i haven't found anything about this....

In youtube videos, most of the time, people has a LED or a light that will light up when the car reaches to red line ....

I'm wondering if anyone wrote a guide about this ?? There is a similar guide around here (v-tec guide) but the pictures got deleted and it is missing some informations i think.

Thank you very much for your time.

Sorry, first off... it's VTEC (not V-TEC or VTECH), please look at the top of your valve cover for reference.

Secondly, most cars have a tachometer, which has a red line marked on it, used to indicate when one has hit the red line. Unless I'm an idiot and 5th gens have something different than every other car I've driven, regardless of vintage, then the red line will simply be indicated by the tachometer.

Now, perhaps they have a aftermarket tachometer with shift light or some other warning lights? Perhaps provide a link to one of these videos?

Dude it's just a shiftlight.

Nothing fancy. I doubt you are ever in the position where you would need one. I guess some people like the feature.
