Rear wheel bearing has failed!!!

I think anyway!
Very noisy, like a rumbling sound, but should there also be some play in the wheel, as there isn't!
I rang the dealer and they are getting the parts in. I have 6 months left on the warranty, so should it be covered under that or is it 'wear and tear'?
The car is a '97 with 61,000 miles.

They won't try and put it down to the bigger wheels will they?

Ooooh Sorry to hear that mate. Maybe you should put the old wheels back on? Or is it too late? You know what they are like...

Whoa, what kind of warranty do u guys have over there?

Over here we only get a 3yr/36000 mi warranty. U have to pay $$ for an extended one.

And yes, DEFINITELY put the stock rims back on! They will almost for sure blame the failure on ur 18's!

I assume you have the extended warranty... if you have the Honda extended warranty it IS covered...

if the warranty is from some aftermarket company it probably isn't...

I just had mine replaced about two months ago... four wheel drifting may cause bearing damage ---> I mean, "no sir just normal driving, it just started making noise..."

I bought the car 6 months ago, so I get a standard 1 year warranty from Honda UK.

I think I will visit them with the old wheels on, just to be safe!
