because they're developed in japan for safty, not comfort... although they might be comfortable, unless you're willing to drop that kind of cash into one seat, its not worth it.
if you're going to be doing serious road racing or auto-x then its the safest thing you can get with the 5-6 point harness, but for everyday driving, why spend the money?
save a thousand and get both front sparco seats... thats just my way of looking at it though
the brides are more narrow. i like them because they fit me pretty well (same with jdm recaros). anything larger and it feels like stock for my size. very comfortable seats also.

I'm 6'4", 200 lbs, and my SRDs are a squeeze, haha. My seat's starting to break in, though, b/c I have wider hips, b/c I'm tall (and white). The Takata harness is so cool to put on, though, hahaha...everybody looks at me differently now, like OH SH!T!!

any bigger than say 34 and you might have problems.
You WILL have problems if you have any waist size bigger than 34-36...my fittment is tight as HELL, but still fun...just wish the SRD didn't sit so high (I have to slouch now). I think I'm going to have some custom work done to my brackets, maybe bolting them directly to the floor, in one place, so I can eliminate one layer of the bracketing...any suggestions?

those that get brides are more into racing or showing....if you're lookin for a daily driver or a more comfortable seat, then save your money an get something else. sparcos for larger people(white), recaros for smaller people (yellow)
Brides are not good for daily driving is you a big guy. I'm 6'1/205 and I barely fit into brides...
Recaros are much nicer for daily driving. I can fit into them easily with no problems. The bolstering is much less aggressive so getting in and out is not a problem...unlike the brides.
Once I find my pics I'll post up some pics of the leg bolstering I took for comparison between the SRD's and the bride brix
Memory foam? I dont know of any seats that have Memory foam?into it, that would be so expensive. I know the Takata seatbelt pads use memory foam.
Heh, also i couldnt' resist and bought a memory foam pillow for myself those are cool.
as for the seats the Recaro SRD's hvae leg bolstering that looks like this \____/ , the Bride Brix look like this l___l
So they are pretty snug, for a daily driver i'd jsut go for SRD's. Bang for the buck you can't beat it i think. The sparcos really dont' have much bolstering at all i find, plus i find their foam a bit hard. Just go to some local performance shops, they usually have some seats for you to try, or even go to some car meets.
SloMo, your shift knob is here
i'm not sure???
i've seen a lot of Sparco seats, and non of them have memory foam. The soft stuff, like when you grab it, it stays in taht shape and slowly goes back to original shape in a matter of seconds. That's memory foam right???
