Question about cylinder walls on H22A4

In this pic you can see that cylinder 2 and 3 have that dark gray look. Cylinders 1 and 4 are both just silver. They are all shiny and smooth with no spots that are rough or catch a finger nail. Are cylinders 2&3 ok?

I just want to make sure that the block is good for a rebuild. Thanks.

well the block is still good, but you may want to rehone your cylinder walls or resleeve, dependign on what you are building.

Actually, the helms doesn't go into great detail whatsoever. The entire block re-honing process, as complicated as it is, is covered on a single ****ing page.

I can't believe how such a troublesome process is summed up in such a short amount of information.

It isn't detailed whatsoever.....at least not to somebody who hasn't done an FRM'd block.
