Question about buying a used Header and Exhaust - Honda Prelude Forum

Some guy asked me while we were driving side by side if I wanted to buy his DC Ceramic Header and I think Greddy Exhaust. This may be stupid question but what kind of things should I look for.

I've heard DC headers that have cracked so I'll make sure to look for cracks. Exhaust type/brand I'm not too concerned at the moment but I don't mind putting it on for now until Dave at SMSP has the full cat out but still want something in working condition.

1.) How do I know it is for a 5gen Prelude (markings, style, design)?
2.) What kind of defects or damages should I look for? (I've never even seen a set of headers or exhaust off of a car besides the one I see under my own hood or under my car.)

This guy supposedly wrecked his car and had these parts still and selling these for really cheap so kind of skeptical.

No help? My main concern is knowing how to distinguish it is for a 5gen lude. Please help, gonna go check this out Monday 4/22.

put it on and see if matches up. if not then give it back to him. unless it has a part number than you can check it out on the internet under greddy.com if its a greddy header.
