problem with suspension

i installed my tanabe pro ss II and now when i hit a hard dip or bump, the front driver side makes a "thud" sound. i dont THINK its bottoming out. i took the coilover back out today and made sure everything was in place and tightened. what could be the problem?

the suspension is used btw.

I don't know what the weather is like there, but, when it's a little chilly here my bushings make a loud noise under suspension movement. Usually the result of not being greased..

if it gets below freezing, it's a reasonable assumption.

go out to your car, push down on the corner making noise and make it bounce.. tell us if you hear something.

jack it up and see if there's any camber-play on the wheel as well.

I have a sound similar to this on my driver's side as well, with my Koni and GC. I'm over it though

My car makes the same THUD everytime I hit a large pothole. Skunk/AGX combo 500f/400r spring rate. Suspension's fine. When the weather warms up, I'm curious to test how much travel I am getting up front.

open the hood and check for an imprint of the bolt on the top of the shock tower
your camber kits could be hitting
