Do you have 10 grand or so extra to deal with the problems and maintenance costs?

Sounds like the car was beat on since he's on his second motor already after just 80k miles. How many of those miles were turbo'd? Don't know what type of suspension parts are installed and for how long, but you'll probably be looking to replace various suspension components as well (bushings, ctrl arms, CV joints, etc..) in near future since the ride looks pretty slammed. Also, I doubt he's pushing 300hp considering its a SH model. Do some research here and you'll understand.

Overall, not a poorly modded car but certainly one I would not buy without driving and inspecting first. Did you plan to do that considering you're in different locations?

nothing really, you just need to know how to take care of a rotary engine. If you know how they work and the maintenance that needs done on it ...then your good to go....flooding issues isnt a problem with 95% of the rx8s nowadays.....but i have no worrys .... still has a warranty
