I simply searched with Google to find this information. If you want to know, it will cost you $5 for my time......Or you could have just searched yourself.

Seriously though, the Tokico shocks will work, but it appears the Tein (S.Techs I assume) springs will not work. The shocks will only work assuming they are for the Base Prelude 97-01 and not for the SH model.

As for swapping over the OEM stuff from your 4G to your 5G, I would expect the same thing. You should probably be able to use the 4G shocks in your 5G (assuming its not SH), but you won't be able to use the springs.

Sorry to hear about your wreck.

back from the dead

I know this is long and dead but i'm hoping someone will answer. Are the 4g and 5g suspension parts interchangable and I'm assuming the SH isn't because of the ATTS. I'm asking cuz I'm swapping an h23 into my 5g and I need to buy parts like a new steering knuckle and I'm not sure what fits what.

^Mostly yes, hopefully you aren't putting an H23A1 into your car, not gonna straight wire up and will be a downgrade from the H22A4.

The knuckle from a 4g will have a 4 lug hub where the 5g is 5 lug.

Yep, h23a1 going into the 5th gen. Going Turbo non-Vtec. As far as the wiring goes I posted something asking about that too. I haven't really got a clear anwser on the wiring yet, I plan on going with a p74/p75 ECU, i read that it works great when turboing an h23, of course I'll be running a standalone too. So am I good to use a base model 5th gen knuckle. My biggest confusion I guess comes down to the Axels. I'm going to have to use ones that work for an h23 but will those same axels fit up to the SH knuckle or will I have to get a base model knuckle or convert to the 4 lug. I am aware that this might not have been the best swap but trust me when I say I'm in too deep now and invested too much to stop now

You're way over thinking it, all you need to do to your car to make a H23a1 work is just convert to OBD1. The engine is a direct fit.

yeah the h23a1 will be a direct swap, you will just have to convert to an obd1 wiring harness and if your car is a sh then you will have to get base model prelude axels because to my understanding the driverside axel is shorter because it goes into the atts unit before it goes into the transmission.

and if anyone was wondering, the springs and struts going from 5th gen to 4th gen were a direct swap over, no modifications or other suspension peices to swap along nessesary .
