power steering fluid

my 00 base is getting low, what kind of ps fluid should i use, the honda stuff or the valvoline product, i was told it was ok to use valvoline brake fluid, (for the brakes). but i didnt know if it was ok to use the same brand for my ps.

Thanks
Dave

Read the owners manual. It says you must use the Honda fluid.

You have to use made for honda fluid. I do think valvoline has any PS fluid for honda. I know Gunk does.

the valvoline power steering fluid in the gold bottle (that looks like the valvoline synthetic brake fluid) actually says on the back "Not Recommended for Use in Hondas" or something like that. Kinda small font too, idiots.... go to Honda

Just use the Honda stuff. Your not going to gain any performance benefits by switching. I'd just stick with what works.
