PLZ help manual conversion problem - Honda Prelude Forum

I just finished my auto to manual conversion and took it out for a test run and now my lude is sputtering like crazy. It feels like the timing is off or something but it shouldn't be it did not do this b4 the conversion. I'm lost here plz help if you can I'm so ready to drive my lude again

check engine light on? Did you do the conversion to your ECU in order for it to run as a 5spd? Are all your plug wires back in the correct place?

My first idea is what Brian is mentioning. Check the ignition system. Also are you throwing a CEL?

Even without modding the ECU's resistor location the car will run. I ran mine for a few weeks before de-soldering/re-soldering it.
