I had the Mugen stripe for a while.

But what I did was i soaped down the area I was going to apply it to, wiped it down with a wet cloth, then applied the decal. And since its wet, you can slide it around until you have it where you want it. Hope this helps.

I think you're going to need a squeegy or one of those "scrapers" to get all of the water out under the striping then once it's dry you're good to go. That's what I remember from hanging out with my friend who applies decals to vehicles. He uses clear shampoo mixed with water to wet the area so that decals move around easier.

well once its at a spot you want it, just let it sit until it dries before you drive around. A scraper would help a bit too, but I would still let it dry before I started driving around.

here's the process...

get some blue painters tape, put a piece on each end of the decal in order to make sure you get the placement correct. once you have it lined up the way you want it, pull the tape off of one side, spray the surface (water w/ a little soap), peel the backing off and then, starting from the taped side, use a credit card to flatten it, moving towards the other end (no longer taped).

make sense?

once you have it flat and lined up, contined to flatten it w/ the credit card from one side to the other, which'll squeeze all of the water out from under the decal. wipe the surface down and then peel the top piece off of the decal.

EDIT: let me know where you get the mugen decal from and a pic if possible....I was going to buy one awhile back and I think I'm going to now.

Like what Derrick said. A credit card or ATM card works great as a squeegy.
