picking up my vis hood tomorrow. have some install ????'s

well tomorrow i am picking up my cf hood. i have been waiting 5 days for it to come in so i am excited. anyways everyone i talked to says its a easy install. i just want to know how easy. i mean i have installed my I/H/E, alarm, system, body kit and spoiler myself. i know i can install this hood but i just have some questions before i get started.

first this is just a direct bolt on right. unblot my stock hood and slap on the cf one right. i just use my old bolts and stuff right. also say i dont want to use my windshield. is there any other drilling i need to do. i know u need to drill holes out for those windshield sprayers. but if i dont use them i dont have to drill any holes right. besides hood pins thats the only thing i would have to drill for if i decided to use them.

also on the 5gen hood above the headlight there is that rubber thing. i need to take that off my old hood and put it on the cf one right. what exactly is it anyways. also will it just peal off my old hood and put it on my cf hood or is it clued. does it look like theres a big gap or somthing if i dont put it on my cf hood.

is there any adjustments that i have to make. everyone says the new vis hoods are a perfect fit. does that mean just bolt the hood in place and its done. no adjustmenst needed or is there something i would have to adjust to make it fit perfect.

how about the hood latch. a hood latch comes with the hood right? or would i have to take my old one from my stock hood and put it on the cf hood.

so pretty much what i need to know if all i have to do is take the 4 bolts that hold my stock hood on and put my cf hood on and bolt it in there with my old bolts. once that is done just shut that hood like i would my stock one and the latch will be allined and everything.

lol ok lastly i want to know about hood pins. really from the guys who have the new vis hoods and arent using them. i think it looks cleaner without them. vis claims u dont need them. is this true. at what speed will u notice u really do need them lol. does the hood shake alot or what.

ok thanx guys i know the questions sound a lil dumb and i know i can figure it out myself but i like to make sure i know everything i need to know. i have installed 80% of the parts on my car but i always like to know what i am getting myself into, even though i probably could figure it out myself

1. It is direct bolt on, just 4 bolts
2. The 2 rubber piece above the headlights are clipped on.Just pull it off the stock hood and clip it on to the carbon fiber hood, so there won't be a big gap.It also helps wind from coming in and making the hood shake.
3. No adjustments needed
4. Comes with latch
5. I think all carbon fiber hoods need hood pins because of the fact that is it light. they will all shake at high speeds. It doesn't mean that it will fly off, but i'm sure all carbon fiber hoods will get shaky if u drive fast enough.
6. As for the washers, U need to use the 2 clips that hold it on to the hood.I never even installed mine...I don't really think that it is necessary...

Installing a carbon fiber hood is probably as easy as putting on an intake....

There's no holes in the ViS hood to allow the rubber piece to be clipped on. You either have to a) drill the holes yourself or b) super glue it. It'll work believe me
